2-Feb-2009: Gwendy Hall, AAG's Treasurer, Editor of Geochemistry: Exploration, Environment, Analsyis, and emeritus research scientist in exploration geochemistry at the Geological Survey of Canada was named Honorary Fellow of the Geological Society in 2008. The Geological Society of London was founded in 1807. It is the United Kingdom's national society for geoscience, and the oldest geological society in the world.
