The Association’s journal Geochemistry: Exploration, Environment Analysis is seeking submissions for a thematic set of papers dealing with hydrochemical applications in exploration and the environment.
The UNESCO Lecture Series "Earth Materials for a Sustainable and Thriving Society" is being organised in collaboration with IUGS and iCRAG, and starts 26 January 2021 (recurring series of lectures through April 1, 2021).

Congratulations to the first recipients of the Cameron-Hall Copper Medal. The first award of this new medal and for the year 2019, is the recent paper in GEEA (vol. 19, Part 4, p. 474-486) entitled ‘Identification of the expression of earthquake induced surface flooding by groundwater using detailed regolith mapping at the buried Atlántida Deposit, northern Chile” written by A.E. Brown, P.A. Winterburn, and T. Bissig.

In Memory of our beloved colleague, Dr. Peter Winterburn. Dear colleagues, friends, applied geochemists and geoscientific community- it is with great sadness that we must inform you of the tragic loss of our friend and colleague Dr. Peter Winterburn, who passed away on June 21 in Chile, where he had recently moved back after many years away. We will sincerely miss our friend and our grief is great. We will always remember his important contribution to the development of our discipline. We offer our deepest condolences to his family and friends.
